Apply for the Easter Orchestra Week 2027

Apply for Easter Orchestra Week

Use this form to apply for a place on Easter Orchestra Week. This form accommodates standard subscriptions, half-price student places, and the young person rate (£450).

Who should use this form

  • Direct route: All string, harp, and percussion players, as well as woodwind and brass players who attended in one of the previous two years.
  • Vacancies: Players applying for specific instrument vacancies published in our booking notice.
  • Note: Woodwind and brass players who did not attend in the previous two years must join the waiting list unless applying for a confirmed open vacancy.

Subscriptions and accommodation summary

  • Young person rate: £450 for players aged 18–30 at the start of the orchestra week.
  • Half-price student places: Subsidised places available for full-time students and young people aged 18–25.
  • Standard subscriptions: Rates vary by accommodation (single room with shared bathroom, en-suite single, en-suite double, twin, or non-resident).
  • Room allocations: En-suite rooms are limited and allocated strictly on a first-come, first-served basis. If unavailable, a single room with shared facilities will be allocated at the lower subscription rate.
  • Full board: All residential subscriptions include accommodation, all meals, and rehearsal refreshments from dinner on the first day to breakfast on the final day.

Please note: Submitting an application does not guarantee a place. Places are allocated to maintain proper orchestral section balance, so we recommend applying early. Please do not finalise travel arrangements until you receive formal written confirmation of your place from the secretary.

Accommodation required. There is always more demand for en suites than the College allocates us, so they are allocated on a strictly first come first served basis.
